Huize Agnes aims to be a shelter home for undocumented women and children. A place where residents, children, volunteers and guests can feel safe and at home. The residents of Huize Agnes do not have an income, therefore the foundation provides for their daily needs, but the women themselves cook their own food and tidy the home. The foundation makes sure that peace and harmony is kept in and around the houses. Huize Agnes provides a safe shelter, and the goal of their help is to stimulate the growth of residents' self-reliance and bring them closer to a better future. Their cause is generously supported by volunteers, various funds, the Utrecht community and the municipality of Utrecht.
