The 'Ubuntuhuis' is a small-scale community center, self-organised by and for people who have (had) experience with homelessness, poverty, psychiatry or living without residential papers. There are practical and social activities organized together with volunteers. The 'Ubuntuhuis' foundation was founded in 2011 and is based in Utrecht (Lombok). Their focus is not on individual or administrative assistance, but on social activities in collaboration with the visitors themselves. For example, there is a football team, a creative/clay workshop, eating together, Dutch lessons and all kinds of other occasional initiatives.
